Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Chairman of the Board of Directors, the fourth edition of the SHARAKAT Award will take place on 19 October 2026 at Hilton Riyadh. The ceremony will honour the partners and outstanding projects that have contributed to the development and sustainability of the Kingdom’s water sector.
The award aims to promote a culture of excellence and leadership in the water sector, recognise outstanding achievements in water projects, foster competition based on the highest standards, strengthen partnerships, encourage investment, and enhance project efficiency and sustainability, contributing to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The award serves as a national platform to celebrate distinguished partners and pioneering projects, highlighting the impact of effective public-private partnerships on the development of the water sector.
The award features nine categories:
– Financial Close Excellence Award: Fastest Financial Close
– Financial Close Excellence Award: Best Financing Model
– Project Delivery Excellence Award: Private-Sector Water Desalination Projects
– Project Delivery Excellence Award: Private-Sector Water Treatment Projects
– Operational Excellence Award: Private-Sector Water Desalination Projects
– Operational Excellence Award: Public-Sector Desalination Production Systems
– Operational Excellence Award: Private-Sector Water Treatment Projects
– Social and Community Impact Award
– Innovation and Sustainability Award
The ceremony will bring together government leaders and leading figures from the public and private sectors. It will feature panel discussions and success stories, providing opportunities to exchange expertise, share best practices, and build strategic partnerships, strengthening collaboration in the development of water infrastructure projects.
