About the Developer Qualification Initiative: 
The Developers Prequalification Initiative is one of SHARAKAT’s initiatives directed at local and international developers. It aims to enable participants to obtain prequalification status, allowing them to receive Request for Proposal (RFP) documents for SHARAKAT’s upcoming projects without the need to submit a separate prequalification application for each individual project.
The initiative targets developers interested in participating in water production plants and wastewater treatment plant projects, within the approved competitive frameworks.
The initiative was launched in 2023 to expand the pool of qualified developers, in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance private sector participation in infrastructure projects.
Objectives of the initiative:
– Facilitating and expediting developer qualification procedures.
– Providing the private sector with extended opportunities to form alliances.
– Enhancing competitiveness in project development.
Target groups:
The initiative targets both local and international developers.
